PRIVACY POLICY: ROSEHIP BOT

1. DATA COLLECTION SCOPE
Rosehip (the "Bot") collects the minimum telemetry required to maintain gameplay state, process transactions, and secure web sessions:
- User & Guild Identifiers: Discord User IDs, Usernames, Guild IDs, and spawn channel configurations.
- Economy & Inventory Data: Petal balances, Character/Tank/Ship inventories, daily streak logs, and spawn claim metadata.
- Web Session Security: Discord OAuth2 access tokens and IP addresses logged in
user_ips.json for rate-limiting and security.
- Command & AI Usage Metrics: Usage statistics logged in
command_stats.json, DM opt-out status in dm_optout.json, and persistent AI User Notes stored in user_notes.json.
- Ephemeral AI Context: The bot fetches up to 6 recent channel messages to generate AI chat responses. Message strings process in ephemeral memory and are not permanently saved.
2. PURPOSE OF DATA USAGE
Your data is used strictly for the following operational requirements:
- Maintaining global item inventories and Petal balances across Discord servers.
- Enforcing command cooldowns (e.g., 24-hour daily claims) and anti-dupe security rules.
- Rendering web dashboard features, creator portal royalties, and profile statistics.
- Detecting automated macro bot farming or unauthorized dashboard session tampering.
3. THIRD-PARTY DISCLOSURE & DATA ISOLATION
We believe in strict data privacy:
- Zero Data Sales: Personal data, User IDs, or command logs are never sold, rented, or distributed to third parties or advertising networks.
- AI API Safety: AI requests process prompt strings in transient memory without sending user data to third-party model training datasets.
4. DATA STORAGE & RETENTION PROTOCOLS
Data is stored in isolated MySQL database structures managed via db_manager.py and local JSON trackers. Web session IDs in sessions.json are persistent hex mapping keys. Data access is strictly restricted to the Developer.
5. YOUR RIGHTS & DATA DELETION (GDPR / CCPA)
You maintain full rights to request the deletion or inspection of your data under GDPR and CCPA guidelines:
- DM Opt-Out: Use
/dm optout to prevent automated direct messages.
- Complete Data Erasure: To request a permanent wipe of your User ID, balance, inventory, and notes from our database, contact the Developer via Discord (
lupc9102) or email (Lupc65779@gmail.com). Profile wipes are permanent and irreversible.
